When a node is online and correctly configured, the Skybound Network protocol credits the operator with rewards denominated in $SKY for the validation work the node performs. Rewards are variable and algorithmic, not guaranteed, and begin accruing at network Go-Live.

What does 'Genesis' mean?+
For six months only, nodes are issued as Genesis nodes — permanent founding infrastructure with governance voting rights. When the window closes, the foundation is complete and no more Genesis nodes will ever be issued.
How am I rewarded?+
Node operators earn Skybound network tokens ($SKY), settled daily to your reward wallet — not fiat. You can track accrual in real time from your operator dashboard.
Where does my node run?+
You choose. Self-host the node on your own hardware, or deploy it with a certified third-party Skybound hosting partner. Either way you keep full ownership of the license and your $SKY rewards.
