Draft for review

Last updated: July 22, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how SKYBound Travel LLC and its affiliates (“Skybound,” “we,” “us”) collect, use, and share information when you use the Skybound websites, applications, and services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Transaction records, including your orders, node licenses, membership subscriptions, and their status.

Affiliate information, if you join the affiliate program, such as your company or channel, audience description, referral code, payout email, and payout account details.

Identity-verification information where required for node purchases or DAO participation (KYC/AML), which may be collected and processed by us or specialized verification providers.

Payment information, which is collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number; we receive limited details such as a payment reference and status.

Usage and device information, such as pages viewed, referral attribution, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar analytics, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to: create and manage your account; process purchases, subscriptions, licenses, and affiliate commissions and payouts; provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; send transactional messages such as receipts, license keys, password resets, and affiliate and payout notifications; attribute referrals to affiliates; comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations; and detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in (a session cookie) and to attribute affiliate referrals (a referral cookie that lasts up to 30 days). We may also use limited analytics to understand and improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them. We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Services:

Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as Stripe (payments and payouts), our email provider (transactional email), and our hosting and database providers (for example, Vercel and Neon).

Node License sales, which are made by SKYBound DAO LLC; information necessary to fulfill and administer a Node License may be shared with SKYBound DAO LLC.

Affiliates, who receive limited information necessary to attribute their referred sales (for example, that a referred purchase occurred and the commission amount), but not your sensitive personal details.

Legal and safety purposes, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Skybound, our users, or others.

Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials and any digital assets secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California, the EEA, the UK, and other regions may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@skybound.live. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. International Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Services may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, notified by email. The “Last updated” date indicates when this Policy was last revised.
